A moderate earthquake has occurred with magnitude 5.0 on Richter scale in Minahassa Peninsula at 5.21am on 8 February 2010. The earthquake epicentre is located at 0.1 South latitude and 123.5 East longitude, 775 km Southeast of Tawau, Sabah.
